Product quality and designer satisfaction are two elements that stimulate our commitment to continuous innovation both in terms of products and in terms of production processes. In fact, our distinctive characteristic is the ability to design and build all production plants in our own mechanical workshop, so that we are able to autonomously manage every extrusion parameter.

Under the leadership of the brothers David, Daniel and Dario, the group now employs over 280 people, showing a strong orientation towards internationalisation... foreign production units have been built in the USA, India, Greece, Turkey and recently in Germany. At the Italian headquarters, exports account for 60% of production, allowing the company to position itself as a competitor to large multinationals in markets all over the world. Turnover is growing steadily every year, reaching 74 million Euro in 2020. Dott.Gallina is characterised by a high level of technological know-how developed over the years thanks to the investments made to design and produce its own production lines and equipment, and it is therefore able to meet the most stringent regulatory specifications and product customisation requests.

"We celebrated our 60th anniversary with our gaze fixed on the future, on dimensional growth and on integrated production. Today, the new headquarters are taking shape, with a 123% increase in space, which will revolutionise both production methods and the working environment for employees.
This project is based on the building renovation of the former COMAU factories in Borgaretto -TO, a few kilometres away from the historic site of La Loggia, meaning that we have chosen to stay in the same area where our historical roots are based. Investing in digitalisation and automation, but with the protection of the territory... By following these values, the functional and aesthetic adaptation of the existing buildings is being carried out, enhancing the surrounding green areas and making them accessible to citizens and employees. In addition to the industrial redevelopment work, the new spaces will be built following the high sustainability standards dictated by LEED® certification, obviously providing for the use of arcoPlus® systems to build the bioclimatic greenhouse that will house the open-plan office space."

"A working environment based on efficiency and comfort: this is what “The Transparent Factory” will be. Minimising environmental impact and facilitating information interconnection are at the heart of this ambitious project which will be essential to increase competitiveness and carry our values into the future.
The production departments are designed according to industry 4.0, integrating a series of high-tech elements such as integrated management platforms, RFID tags for goods tracking during each phase of the production cycle, self-driving vehicles for internal handling, automatic warehouses and automatic packaging systems… At the same time, we will maintain the uniqueness of our historical internal mechanical workshop, which will continue to guarantee maximum product customisation.
By embracing an eco-friendly architecture concept, working environments with maximum environmental and psychophysical comfort will be created, lowering stress levels, also thanks to contact with nature. In fact, common areas are being created for sports activities, catering services, a baby parking and family support area.
Following the sustainable philosophy that already characterised the historical plant, many solutions will be adopted to achieve energy autonomy with a double high-efficiency trigeneration plant, and circular production will be implemented for the elimination of waste thanks to internal reuse."

Our history

From 1960 to the present day, we have faced the challenges of over half a century of history by going through changes in markets, fashions, society... The ability to react has allowed us to diversify and innovate our product range by interpreting the needs of each period. The 1960s were characterised by an economic miracle, a context in which the company launched itself into the production of PVC roller shutters and Perlin® interior cladding panels. The 1970s saw the birth of our historical brands, such as TegoPlus®, and a revolutionary element entered the company: polycarbonate. This glorious decade of success is characterised by technological innovation and trips to look for new opportunities involving the new entrepreneurial generation of the brothers David, Daniel and Dario. The 1990s, on the other hand, were years of growth and major expansion of the product range, still in existence today, years in which the company worked to define the course of the future. In the 2000s, the challenge of globalisation led to our consolidated presence on the global market with the establishment of foreign production sites and with the development of an international distribution network. This was followed by digitisation, which allows for business processes to be redesigned in order to offer a more efficient service and products with certified quality. Today's stimuli are represented by environmentalism and sustainability, to which we are actively responding with circular production, energy self-sufficiency and recycled products, which, in turn, allow for projects with a low environmental impact.

In the Turin area, in North West Italy, lies the historic headquarters of our company, which in 60 years has become the head office of a multinational corporation with high-tech production facilities. In fact, it was the autumn of 1960 when, thanks to the ambition of a chemist, Dr. PierAulo, “Dott.Gallina - Plastic Materials Industry' was founded in a 500 sqm building next to his house. Today, the plant houses the production lines for polycarbonate panels, plants dedicated to the extrusion of technical profiles for the automotive industry, automated warehouses, the workshop where all the machinery is designed and built, R&D laboratories and the office building where the activities of the entire group are coordinated.

Gallina USA has been manufacturing and distributing polycarbonate sheets, panels, profiles and solid sheet in the USA since 2002.
Our 144,000 square foot facility, located just north of Chicago in Janesville, WI., operates 4 extrusion lines round-the-clock with a team of 40+ employees.
Gallina USA produces millions of pounds annually of polycarbonate sheets and panels for shipment to plastic distribution, OEM accounts, commercial architectural and daylighting projects as well as horticultural and other specialty markets.

"As part of its international growth, in 2018 Dott.Gallina took over the business of the renowned German brand Prokulit® and optimised the updating of the product range; maintaining the technical peculiarities and the high standards required by the German market. Prokulit® modular systems thus expanded the range of specific solutions for North European translucent construction.
We have since expanded under the name ""Gallina Deutschland GmbH"". The historic local headquarters in Dortmund houses a large factory to offer materials ready for delivery and a team of technicians to support customers, guaranteeing continuity of experience and maximum local construction knowledge."

Gallina DEUTSCHLAND

Gallina Eurasia was founded in 2012 with the goal of producing high quality polycarbonate panels, systems, and accessories to serve the Middle Eastern region. Our product range is extruded using top of the line machinery and high-quality virgin raw material.
Since it’s foundation the company constantly increased its domestic and international market share. Today, Gallina Eurasia is a well-known player in the Middle Eastern market for the production of polycarbonate systems for facade and roofing applications. The Gallina Eurasia name represents the highest quality, thanks to the strong internationalization and support within the Dott. Gallina Group, that provides the highest possible technical capacity.
